In today's environment, battery systems must perform in the most challenging applications.  BPC's versatile PowerStor range of sealed lead acid batteries has all the answers with a wide choice of capacity ratings in compact cases for both standard and extended design lives suitable for both cyclic and float applications.  As agents of the worlds major battery manufacturers BPC can provide cost effective solutions to your battery requirements.  BPC will design and install a battery system suitably sized to provide your power protection unit with the required autonomy.  All battery installations are carried out to the manufacturers specifications and are fully warranted.

Battery Builds

BPC are experienced in carrying out all types of battery builds from small battery systems in cabinets to very large battery room installations.  All types of battery are catered for, including Valve Regulated Lead Acid and Nickel Cadmium batteries.  Our engineers are fully trained in all aspects of battery rack and battery assembly and are equipped with calibrated torque drivers, voltmeters and impedance testers.  Batteries are installed according to the battery manufacturers' recommendations and where appropriate to the provisions of EN 50272-2:2001. 

Battery Testing & Maintenance

For large battery configurations, BPC can carry out detailed monitoring, testing and maintenance programmes to help protect the considerable investment such battery installations represent.  All BPC battery testing is carried out using conventional testing methods supported by impedance testing where appropriate.

Battery Disposal

With new legislation and increasing environmental awareness, safe disposal of spent batteries is essential.  BPC can arrange safe disposal in compliance with all hazardous waste requirements.
