In early February, we had the pleasure of welcoming our valued clients all the way from Uganda, Africa, to our Romsey, UK office for an intensive week-long training course. The course combined both classroom and workshop facilities in order to allow for all aspects of theory and practical training.
The course blended classroom learning with hands-on workshops, ensuring a comprehensive training experience.
On the first day, our highly experienced International Sales Manager, Ryan Henley and our Training Manager Malcolm Wilson with over 2 decades of combined UPS & power protection experience, guided our valued visitors through an overview of our extensive product range, followed by a buffet lunch we provided. After a hearty lunch that accommodated their various dietary requirements (because ensuring our customers’ satisfaction is key!), they enjoyed a company tour where they were welcomed by the BPC team.
The following day focused on technical training for the PowerGem Plus RT (PGPRT) and PowerMaster single phase 5-40kVA systems in our boardroom, complemented by practical/ hands-on training on the installation and commissioning of these units.
On the third day, training focused on our PowerPrime range with technical, classroom-style training provided, followed by practical training on the installation and commissioning of our PowerPrime UPS range.
On their final day at our Romsey office, our Ugandan clients received training on our YouTube resources (be sure to SUBSCRIBE here), as well as in-depth training on Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) configuration.
The week concluded with several resources provided for their continued professional development, benefitting their team and company.
But that was not all.. over the weekend, our Managing Director, Malcolm Henley, took them to London to experience the history and beauty of our country, especially as most of the clients were visiting the UK for the first time.
From exploring the Tower of London, to enjoying a view of the vibrant city of London from the London Eye, to other historical landmarks, our Managing Director ensured they experienced the cultural highlights of the UK before their return back to Uganda, Africa.
This memorable trip underscores our dedication to going above and beyond for our customers.
Our Uganda clients not only gained advanced knowledge of our products and services, the power protection and the UPS industry, but they also left with cherished memories their time in the UK, making for an all-round enriching and valuable visit.
